Abstract

Background: At birth with very low birth weight have had health problems that are complex and susceptible to disease. One of the main problems found in infants with low birth weight are less nutrients the body needs so that early nutrition is recommended to prevent the occurrence of various diseases and complications. Objective: To describe nursing care of fulfilling nursing care of fulfilling the needs of nutrition less than body to by mrs. P II in peristi ward, dr. sudirman state hospital of kebumen Nursing Issues: nutritional imbalance is less than the body needs, hypothermia, the risk of infection. Intervention and Implementation: Already done the review or balanced body weight, nutrition via enteral feeding, monitor vital signs and infection, keep the patency of body temperature. Evaluation: Conducted over three days with enteral feeding can meet the nutritional needs of patients, monitor vital signs, maintain the patency of body temperature and body temperature obtained infection within normal limits and there are no signs of emerging risk of infection.
