Abstract

Background : Fracture is a malfunction of continuity bone. Patients fracture done the act of surgery to speed up the healing process bone. One of the handling fracture that is the process of the dissection for example through open reduction and internal fixation ( orif). Orif not only led to the process by healing but also leave side effects that is pain in patients. On the issue of handling pain can be done by the act of pharmacology and non pharmacology. The act of non of pharmacology which can is aromaterapi lavender. Purpose : Give a description on the care of nursing the fulfillment of a need security and convenience pain in patients post the operation of fracture in room Inayah RS PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Method : Uses the method descriptive with the approach a case study 2 people patients who developed a sense of security comfortable pain. The data collection was done to these interviews, observation and documentation. Results : After doing the care of nursing with the result the diagnoses nursing acute pain in patients 1 and 2 carried out the act of nursing with aromaterapi lavender show reduced pain of the scale of 6 to 3 Conclusions : Evaluation conducted in the three days showed a decrease in pain following the completion of the act of nursing with aromaterapi lavender
