Abstract
Background: Health problems with digestive disorders of GERD or Gastro Esophagel Reflux Disease is the backflow of stomach contents into the esophagus or duodenum, reflux can occur due to excessive esophageal sphincter incompetent, stenosis, pyloric, or motility disorders. On the client GERD have acute pain problems to resolve these problems do relaxtation with a deep breath. Objective: provides an overview of nursing care to meet the needs of safety and comfort to Mrs. S in Barokah ward PKU Muhammadiyah hospital of Gombong Disscussion: when examined on June 9, 2016 at 09.00 am a client of said pain in the right chest and his solar plexus scale 6 5 scale, hence the nursing problems of acute pain associated with injury to biological agents. Intervention and implementation that has been done is assess pain, observing TTV, non-pharmacological techniques taught deep breathing relaxtation conducted for 3 days. Results: The results of the evaluation of the third day a client of said pain decreased 2 chest pain scale, a scale of heartburn 2. Conclusion: deep breathing relaxation can improve the comfort of the client and can reduce the intensity of pain.
