Abstract

Background : Elderly is entering the final stage in the life of human development. The elderly family stage is the final stage of a family stage. In Caruban Village the percentage of the elderly population is 28 elderly. Purpose : To provide an overview of nursing care for the developmental stage of elderly families with falls risk problems in Caruban Village, Adimulyo District, Kebumen Regency. Method :The method used in this case study is a descriptive method with a case study approach, by observing interviews with 3 clients and their families. Results : In this study, it resulted in the doing of balance therapy (ankle strategy exercise) for 3 clients which was carried out for 3x/week showed that it could be resolved by looking at the results of the assessment category 14 seconds 87% equal to no high risk for falling. Conclusion : Balance Therapy can reduce patients who have the risk of falling. Keywords : Balance Therapy, Nursing Care
