Abstract

Baground : One of physical mobility disorder is stroke. It is disorder or loss of control of motor movements or what is generally referred to as motor disfunction. To overcome this disorder, a nursing care is needed, such by applying foot massage Objective : To provide an overview of nursing care with foot massage as an effort to improve physicial mobility in stroke patients. Methods : This study is a descriptive with a case study approach. Data was collected from observation, interview, measurement, and documentation. Results : After having 3 days foot massage treatment, there was an increase of the movement of the legs from the first degree of muscle strength to degree 2 of muscle strength of all patients Conclusion : Foot massage can relax the muscles and blood cirlulation in stroke patients.
