Abstract

Background: According to WHO the prevalence of anemia of pregnant mothers in 2017 was 41.8%, while in Asia it was 48.2%. This is because they have no good compliance in consuming tablets Fe regularly. These tablets are important to meet the iron needs during pregnancy. To overcome anemia, they need a nursing care by consuming spinach and sunkis orange juice. Objective: To describe a nursing care for pregnant mothers in trimester I by giving spinach and sunkis juice. Method: This study is a descriptive with a case study approach. The respondents were 3 pregnant mothers with anemia. The data was obtained through observation. Results: After consuming spinach and sunkis juice, there was an increase of hemoglobin of all respondents: from 9 to 10 (respondent 1), Conclusion: Spinach and sunkis juice can increase hemoglobin level of pregnant mothers in trimester I with anemia.
