Abstract

Background: At the stage of toddler development, children have one of the developmental tasks, namely toilet training. Toilet training is an attempt to train children to be able to regulate urination and defecation. Techniques that can be done by parents in training their children to do toilet training are oral techniques and modeling techniques. Objective: Describing the influence of modeling techniques in toilet training in toddler-age children. Method: This method used descriptive-analytic with a case study approach with 3 respondents who carried out nursing care for 4 days. The instrument is a questionnaire sheet and observation sheet of toilet training capabilities. Results: The intervention and implementation that needs to be done for the success of toilet training is the application of modeling techniques, after modeling technique, there is an increase in the child's ability to do toilet training. Recommendation: The modeling technique used to train toilet training in toddler-age children can be done at home and in the community.
