Abstract

Background: Hallucinatory disorder is a perception or response of five senses in the absence of stimulation. A patient who experiences hallucination tends to be aloof, daydreaming, and he has difficulty in concentrating, as well as his eye contact is easily shifting. The bad impact of auditory hallucinations is that he can hurt himself and others. To overcome this problem, an application of dzikir spiritual therapy is needed. Objective: Knowing the appication of dzikir spiritual therapy on patients having sensory perception disorders: auditory hallucinations at Kedungbulus. Method: This scientific paper is an analytical descriptive with a case-study approach. Data were obtained through the process of nursing care, assessment of signs of hallucinations and the ability to dhikr. The instruments used were SOP for dhikr spiritual therapy and observation sheets. The respondents were 3 patients Result: After having application of dzikir spiritual therapy, there was a significant decrease in the sign and symptom: from 10 to 4 (patient 1), from 10 to 8 (patient 2), from 10 to 4 (patient 3). Furthermore, there was an increase in ability of dzikir spiritual therapy: from 0 became 10 (patient 1), from 0 became 3 (patient 2), from 0 became 9 (patient 3). Recommendation: Dzikir spiritual therapy is suggestable to decrease the sign and symptom of sensory perception disorder: auditory hallucination.
