Abstract

Background: Hypertension is a medical condition that someone has an increase of blood pressure exceeding normal condition. To overcome hypertension during covid-19 pandemic, health education can be applied for managing hypertension at home. Objective: To know the application about hypertensionmanagement at home during covid- 19 pandemic. Method: This scientific paper is a qualitative descriptive with a case-study approach. Data were obtained from interview, observation, and documentation. The participants were 3 clients with hypertension who met the inclusion criteria. The instruments used were a sphyghomanometer, flipchart media and booklets. Result: After having application of health education about hypertension management at home during the covid-19 pandemic, there was an increase in knowledge level of all participants. Recomendation: Health education can be applied to improve knowledge of society about hypertension management at home during covid-19 pandemic.
