Abstract

Background: In Indonesia, the incidence of cesarean section continues to increase from year to year where in 2018 there were 17.6% of deliveries by Caesarean section. Post section caesarea mothers will feel pain due to the surgical incision, the pain is severe and 75% of patients have an unpleasant experience due to inadequate pain management. One of the relaxation techniques that can be applied to reduce pain problems is finger grip relaxation. Objective: To analyze nursing care on pain nursing problems in post section caesarea clients through the application of finger grip relaxation techniques in the salamah room of PKU Muhammadiyah Sruweng Hospital. Methods: This scientific paper used a descriptive case study design. The case study subjects were 5 post-SC mothers, who experienced acute pain problems. Collecting data by using observation, interview and documentation study. Results: From the five patients after the finger grip relaxation was carried out, the pain level decreased from moderate to mild pain. Conclusion: The results of the evaluation of the application of finger grip relaxation innovation by husbands in post SC patients effectively reduce pain levels.
