Abstract
This scientific paper is based on data obtained from various sources of literature that states oxygenation requirement is part of the physiological needs. The assessment results with the data source medical records, patient, and the patient's family obtain subjective data: patients say claustrophobic, objective data: patient looked tight, RR: 28 times/min, post WSD, nursing diagnoses ineffectiveness breathing patterns associated hyperventilation, nursing interventions on breathing pattern management: monitor breathing patterns/8 hours, monitor frequency of breathing/8 hours, monitor vital sign/8 hours, position semifowler, chest therapy 8/hour auscultation sounds ventilation/8 hours. Implementation in accordance with the intervention carried out for 3 days, the data Subjective evaluation: the client says breathlessness, can sleep and rest, objective data: the clients seem crowded, the client looks breaks, RR: 26 times/min. Dada is not symmetrical. Ineffectiveness nursing problems breathing patterns associated with hyperventilation resolved, the next plan monitor the patient's condition. Conclusion: based on the results of nursing care, chest breathing pattern management therapy 3 times a day can reduce tightness.
