Abstract
Background: stroke is a brain injury related to obstruction of brain blood flow. Stroke is a condition which a client has a problem of physical mobility. ROM (Range Of Motion) is done to handle such problem to increase flexibility of the joints. Objective: to provide an nursing care overview of fulfilling mobilization need to the family of Mr. B in Wonokriyo Village, Gombong Discussions: assessment has been held on Thursday June 09th, 2015 at 11.00 pm. blood pressure: 150/100 mmHg, pulse: 100x/m, respiration rate: 22x/m, temperature: 36,8oC, susceptible motion wa very limited, upper extremities muscle strength 3/2, lower extremities muscle strength 2/2, the main nursing diagnosis was impaired physical mobility. Intervention and implementation were measuring vital signs, assessing muscle strength, demonstrating ROM. Results: The evaluation done on the third day showed that the family could do ROM, upper extremities muscle strength 3/2, lower extremities muscle strength 2/2. The problem was partially resolved would be followed up by physiotherapist to do ROM at least twice a day. Conclusion: the ROM may help stroke clients to improve muscle and joint strength.
