Abstract
Background: Exclusive breastfeeding for infants aged 0-6 months in Kebumen district in 2018 states that the prevalence of infants who do not receive exclusive breastfeeding is 33.05%. The government through it is policy carried out a campaign program on exclusive breastfeeding during the Covid-19 period, but the results have not yet reached the specified target. The impact of not being given exclusive breastfeeding is the danger of starvation, and death due to diarrhea. Objective: To apply the provision of processed banana blossom to breast milk production in postpartum mothers at PMB Tri Winarsih S.Tr.Keb. Methods: This research used descriptive research, namely through a case study approach, data collection techniques in the form of observation and interviews, literature and documentation. Participants in this care ware postpartum mothers on the 2nd-8th day, as many as 3 participants. Results: After applying the processed banana blossom, it was given for 7 days with a frequency of 1 times in the morning. Before consuming the processed banana heart, it was found that the smooth milk production of the three participants had not been smooth. However, after 7 days of consuming processed banana blossom, the results showed that there was an increase in the smooth production of breast milk in postpartum mothers, which was seen from the tension of the mother's breasts, breast milk seeping into clothes, the frequency of the baby's urination, the frequency of breastfeeding, the baby sleeping quietly after feeding.
