Abstract
Background: Menopause is a physiological part that occurs in the reproductive phase of women. Biologically, women's reproductive function, especially the ovaries, will decrease as a woman ages. So women will experience a decrease in estrogen production to the point where there is no estrogen production, usually characterized by irregularity and the cessation of the menstrual cycle. The diagnosis that appears in clients with premenopause is anxiety. Non-pharmacological management that can be used to reduce anxiety in clients is premenopausal education using the five-finger hypnosis technique. Objective: To describe nursing care with the main problem of anxiety in premenopausal patients using premenopausal educational therapy with the five finger hypnosis technique. Method: This method used descriptive appneach, namely the author described the condition of the 3 respondents and used operational standards, and with 3 visits. Results: After carried out educational nursing cared and applying the five finger hypnosis technique to clients with anxiety showed that there was a decrease in the anxiety scale from moderate to mild and increased knowledge about premenopause. Conclusion: The application of premenopausal educational therapy using the five finger hypnosis technique can reduce anxiety in premenopause Recommendations: for non-pharmacological therapy.
