Abstract

Background: Anxiety is a psychological disorder that can affect industrial workers, leading to concentration problems, decreased productivity, and even mental health issues. Management of anxiety in at-risk workers, such as factory workers, can be carried out through the application of guided imagery therapy. Objective: To describe the analysis of nursing care with anxiety problems in factory worker clients. Method: This study descriptive-approach, there were three clients with the inclusion criteria as factory workers aged 18–50 years experiencing anxiety based on HARS score >14. The therapy was conducted over five sessions, each lasting 20 minutes per client. Instruments are the HARS scale to measure signs and symptoms of anxiety, nursing care format, and standard operating procedure (SOP) for guided imagery. Results: The results showed that guided imagery therapy can reduce anxiety levels as measured by the HARS scale in factory workers experiencing anxiety. Recommendation: Guided imagery therapy is recommended for clients experience anxiety, family members, and related institutions.
