Abstract

Background: Preeclampsia is a typical disease in pregnancy that shows triad symptoms (hypertension, edema, proteinuria) Preeclampsia is a major complication in pregnancy and a major cause of maternal morbidity and mortality Nurses play a role in providing interventions that can reduce blood pressure in pregnant women with preeclampsia with non-pharmacological treatments such as herbal therapy, nutritional therapy, aromatherapy, reflexology massage and warm water soak therapy. Research Objective: to perform nursing care for preeclampsia patients with ineffective peripheral perfusion in the edelweiss room of KRT Setjonegoro Wonosobo Hospital. Research Method : This study uses a descriptive method of case study approach, with a total research sample of 5 respondents. The instruments used are SOP and observation sheet: Results: The results of the assessment that has been carried out on five respondents suffering from preeclampsia obtained data that the five respondents experienced an increase in blood pressure. The nursing intervention provided is the provision of foot soak therapy with warm water.After implementation, the results show that the provision of foot soak therapy with warm water can reduce blood pressure paien. Recommendations : The results of this study should be used as basic data for further research and it is hoped that further research will use time, energy and facilities that are more adequate and efficient as possible and involve families in this intervention.
