Abstract
Background: Pain in post SC cases if not treated immediately will have an impact on mobility disorders, in addition daily activities will also be hampered. Efforts to manage pain are by using the non-pharmacological method of Benson relaxation therapy. Objective: To analyze nursing care for post SC patients with acute pain in the Tulip Room of Prembun Hospital Method: This Final Scientific Paper uses a case study approach. The number of samples is five patients. The instruments in this case study are the nursing care format carried out for 3 days, Benson Relaxation SOP which is given 15 minutes for each therapy, the pain scale assessment format with the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS), and the pain scale measurement observation sheet. Data analysis is carried out in the form of frequency tables and percentages. Nursing care results: The results of the assessment showed that the five patients had the same problem, namely acute pain. The main nursing diagnosis was acute pain. The interventions carried out were pain management with Benson relaxation therapy. The results of the application of therapy to 5 patients showed that there was a decrease in the pain scale with an average of 3.4 points. Recommendation: Benson relaxation technique can be recommended to reduce pain in post-SC patients.
