Abstract

Background: Non-Hemorrhagic Stroke Patients are at risk of experiencing tissue or skin damage due to bed rest experienced during treatment. Management efforts to prevent this tissue damage are by using back massage and bed rest. Objective: to analyze nursing care for non-hemorrhagic stroke/SNH patients with nursing problems of skin integrity risk using back massage and bed rest in the ICU room of Prembun Hospital. Method: This Final Scientific Paper uses a case study approach. The number of samples is five patients. The instruments in this case study are the nursing care format, Back Massage SOP, Bed Rest SOP and Braden Scale Form to predict the risk of Decubitus. Data analysis is carried out in the form of frequency tables and percentages. Nursing care results: The results of the assessment showed that the five patients had the same problems that led to the nursing problem of Skin/Tissue Integrity Risk. The intervention carried out was Skin Integrity Care with back massage and bed rest. The results of the application of therapy to 5 patients experienced an increase in the Braden score (decreased risk of decubitus) with an average score of 1.6 Recommendation: Back Massage Therapy and Lying Down can be recommended to reduce the risk of decubitus in SNH patients.
