Abstract
Indonesia. Thisis is because of the dusty air condition, warm and moisture temperature so that microbes can easily grow larger. In developing countries, the emerging strain of resistant bacteria to antibiotics in infectious diseases is an important problem. Bacterial immunity against antibiotics causes the increasing death rate. The handling of infectious diseases not only increases health costs because it requires the combination of antibiotics, but also leads to the increasing mortality rate. This happens specially to developing countries because the needed antibiotics are available Objective: To find out lochea expenditure and post partum characteristics using lime as an antiseptic. Method: This research is an analytical descriptive with case study approach. Data were obtained through interview and documentation study. Results: After having the application of lime antiseptic for the area of female sex organ for seven consecutive days and done twice a day, the lochea bath coming out a lot, the vagina feels tight and the lochea is odorless. Conclusions: Application of lime as an antiseptic for the area of female sex-organ area of post-partum mothers can reduce the lochea.
