Abstract

Background : Bronchial asthma is a respiratory disorder characterized by constriction of the airways. Respiratory relaxation treatment is a simple, nonpharmacological approach that can offer considerable advantages to patients. Balloon inflatable therapy can aid intercostal muscles in assessing the function of the diaphragm and rib muscles. Objective : This study will look into poor breathing patterns in nursing care for Bronchial Asthma patients at RSU Siaga Medika Banyumas. Method : : This study used a selective case study approach, with a sample size of five respondents. The research instrument employed was balloon blowing therapy, which was administered three times with five blows lasting 10 seconds. Results : The analysis's findings demonstrated a reduction in respiratory frequency, nostril breathing, and dyspnea both before and after the intervention. Recommendation : Balloon inflating therapy can overcome poor breathing patterns in people with Bronchial Asthma.
