Abstract

Background, Many studies have proven that the five-finger hypnosis technique used in generalist therapy can help patients to relax and reduce their worries and anxiety, so this treatment does not require expensive costs. General objectives, The general objective in writing the final scientific work of ners is to analyze nursing care with relaxation therapy interventions (five-finger hypnosis) in hypertensive clients who experience anxiety. Methods, The type of research is a descriptive approach using research instruments in the form of SOP Sheet of 5 Finger Hypnosis Therapy, HARS Questionnaire (Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale) after the application of 5 Finger Hypnosis actions to 5 (five) patients with a time contract for each meeting for 15 - 45 minutes, the frequency of meetings is 1 time a day for 3 days of consecutive implementation of research to patients. The results of nursing care, The results of the case study showed the greatest decrease in anxiety levels in patient 1, from a HARS score of 33 (severe anxiety) to 18 (mild anxiety). There was also the greatest improvement in five-finger relaxation hypnosis ability in patients 1 and 5, at 90%. Recommendations, It is hoped that it can be used as additional knowledge for patients and for the wider community regarding reducing anxiety for patients with hypertension with new innovations that can be applied independently in everyday life.
