Abstract

Background: Ureteroscopy (URS) is a medical procedure that uses a special tool called a urethoscope, which is inserted through the urinary tract. In post-op ureteroscopy patients, there is a level of anxiety. Anxiety and fear in post-op ureteroscopy patients can cause physical and psychological effects if not treated seriously. Currently, various non-pharmacological treatments have been developed with the aim of providing relaxation to patients, Benson therapy and Murottal therapy are two of them. Purpose: Objective: To describe the analysis of nursing care by providing Benson Therapy and Murotal Therapy to Post Op Ureteroscopy patients with anxiety nursing problems Methods: This treatment uses a descriptive method with a case study approach. The subjects of the treatment were 5 post-ureteroscopy patients who experienced anxiety, the treatment instruments were in the form of a psychosocial nursing care format, a Depression on Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS) questionnaire, an ability observation sheet, SOP for Benson therapy and Murotal Therapy, carried out in the Multazam room of PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital. Result: After nursing care was carried out on 5 patients, it was found that there was a decrease in anxiety in post-ureteroscopy surgery patients using Benson therapy, the results showed that there was a decrease in the level of anxiety the most in patients 3 out of 18 (severe) to 7 (mild) and Murotal therapy showed that there was a decrease in the level of anxiety the most in patients 1 out of 19 (severe) to 7 (mild). And there was an increase in the patient's ability to perform the action, the results of the observation of the ability before Benson therapy were 4 and after 9, murottal therapy before the action was obtained 6 and after murottal therapy was 10. Conclusion: Hasil asuhan keperawatan ini menunjukan terdapat adanya penurunan ansietas setelah dilakukan terapi benson dan terapi murottal. Recommendation: PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital can recommend Benson therapy and Murrotal therapy policies to reduce anxiety in post-ureteroscopy surgery patients.
