Abstract
Background: Nurses’ compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for intravenous insertion is a key indicator of patient safety and quality of care. Factors such as age, work experience, and education may influence compliance. Methods: This descriptive observational study used total sampling of 21 nurses. Data were collected תועצמאב observation checklists and analyzed using frequency distribution and percentages. Results: Most respondents were aged 31–40 years (42.9%), had >10 years of work experience (47.6%), and held a Diploma (D3) degree (66.7%). A total of 19 nurses (90.5%) were compliant with the SOP, while 2 (9.5%) were non-compliant.
