Abstract

A pharmacy is a pharmaceutical service facility responsible for compounding medicines in accordance with applicable standards. The adequacy of compounding facilities is an important factor in ensuring the quality of compounded preparations and patient safety. This study aimed to identify the condition of drug compounding facilities and assess their compliance with the standards stated in the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 9 of 2017 concerning Pharmacies. This study employed a non-experimental observational design. Data were collected through direct observation and interviews with the pharmacist in charge at Apotek Binar Purwokerto using a checklist based on the Ministerial Regulation standards. The study was conducted from May to December 2025. The results showed that most of the compounding facility aspects met the required standards. Facilities such as calibrated milligram and gram scales, sink, packaging materials, and drug labels were available and compliant. These findings indicate that the pharmacy has provided adequate infrastructure to support safe and accurate compounding practices in accordance with pharmaceutical service standards. In conclusion, the compounding facilities at Apotek Binar Purwokerto generally comply with the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 9 of 2017, thereby supporting the quality of pharmaceutical services and enhancing public trust in pharmacy services.
