Abstract

Curug Sindaro is one of the leading tourist destinations in Wadasmalang Village that offers natural beauty. However, potential hazards at tourist sites such as steep terrain and difficult access can increase the risk of accidents. This study aims to analyze and improve aspects of (K3) at Curug Sindaro by using the Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control (HIRARC) method. This method is applied through threestages: (1) identification of potential hazards, (2) risk level assessment, and (3) risk control to minimize work accidents. The results showed that some of the main potential hazards in this area include the risk ofslipping, falling from a height, and physical fatigue of visitors and workers. The risk assessment revealed that some hazards fall into the high-risk category, especially in steepaccess paths and areas with heavy water flow. Proposed risk control measures include installation of warning signs, procurement of personal protective equipment (PPE) for workers, and OHS training for officers and tour guides. In addition, improved facilities such as safety fences and safer access paths are recommended. The implementation of HIRARC proved to be effective in identifying and reducing potential risks at Curug Sindaro, thus improving safety and comfort for both workers and visitors. This research emphasizes the importance of OHS implementation in the tourism sector, especially in the tourism industry.
