Abstract

Background: Pharmaceutical distributors (PBF) play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, safety, and integrity of medicines throughout the distribution process. The handling of controlled products such as psychotropics, precursors, and certain medicinal products (OOT) must comply with Good Distribution Practice (CDOB) standards regulated by BPOM. Evaluating CDOB implementation is essential to ensure compliance with regulations and to prevent irregularities in the pharmaceutical supply chain. Objective: This study aims to evaluate the compliance of handling psychotropic, precursor, and certain medicinal products at PBF Millennium Pharmacon International (MPI) Tbk Purwokerto branch based on CDOB standards. Methods: This study used an observational method with a descriptive non-experimental approach. Data were collected through direct observation using a checklist based on BPOM CDOB guidelines (2020). The evaluated aspects included procurement, receiving, storage, distribution, and documentation. Results: The evaluation results showed that all assessed aspects (19 points) met the CDOB criteria, achieving a compliance rate of 100%, categorized as very good. Conclusion: The handling of psychotropic, precursor, and certain medicinal products at PBF MPI Purwokerto branch is fully compliant with CDOB standards and ensures the quality and safety of medicines throughout the distribution process.
