Abstract

Background Behind : Disturbance soul is problem health that affects emotions , thoughts , and behavior individual , impact No only in patients but also to his family . In the work area Health Center Sadly , there are quite a lot of ODGJ cases high , requires role significant family in maintenance patient . Therefore that 's important For know motivation family in caring for ODGJ. Objective : Study This aiming For know description characteristics motivation and analysis level motivation families who care for ODGJ in the work area Health Center Mirit . Method : Study This use design descriptive with approach quantitative . Sample as many as 100 families ODGJ . Data collected use questionnaire motivation family who have tested validity and reliability . Data analysis was carried out with distribution frequency . Results : Research results show that part big family own medium readiness in caring for ODGJ, with 57 respondents or 57.0%, and the average score motivation in category This is 24.6. Besides that , 26 respondents (26.0%) had strong motivation , with an average score of highest namely 40.7. On the other hand , 17 respondents (17.0%) indicated motivation weak , with an average score of motivation of 14.7. In general overall , average score motivation family in caring for ODGJ is 27.1 Conclusion : Motivation family in caring for ODGJ in the work area Health Center Mirit part big is in the category moderate . Factor age , education , occupation , and economic status influence readiness the . Recommendation : Community Health Center need increase education and training for family For strengthen motivation , support financial , and experience in caring for ODGJ. It is also recommended that there be a mentoring program psychosocial for family For reduce burden maintenance .
