Abstract

Background: Gout Arthritis is a complication that occurs due to an increased percentage of gout arthritis in the blood (hyperusemia >7 mg/dl) and is caused by excessive swelling of uric acid, causing symptoms of pain in the joints because the accumulation of gout in the form of crystals over a long period of time will result in painful inflammation. Routine gout arthritis treatment will help control pain and reduce gout arthritis levels in the blood, gout treatment therapy has many techniques, one of which is effective is the lemongrass warm compress technique Objective: To describe the analysis of acute pain nursing care in gout arththritis patients by applying the lemongrass warm compress technique to reduce pain in the village of Selokerto. Method: In this writing used a descriptive approach analysis in 3 responden of acute pain who tretead by nursing care for 5 days, the data instrumen were conducted by SOP, nursing care form, informed consent, GCU tolls, NRS. Results: The results obtained that lemongrass warm compress therapy was effective in reducing the pain scale gradually, and also lowering uric acid levels in patients with gout arthritis Recommendation: Lemongrass Warm Compress therapy is used for patients who experience gout arthritis pain and it can be done independently or with family at home
