Abstract
Patients with appendicitis is a problem that is very common in the community. Nursing problems that often arise in cases of preoperative apendictomy is pain , anxiety , hyperthermia and lack of knowledge . Scientific work is performed to determine nursing care to clients with preoperative apendictomy . How to overcome the pain by using warm compresses clients and families often do not know how and benefits of warm compresses to reduce pain . Implementation warm compresses conducted over 2 times for 2 days . When meeting nurses provide education and demonstrations warm compresses . Evaluation of these actions the client that originally had pain with a scale of 6 after the action a warm compress for 2 days obtained client pain decreased to 3 scale .
