Abstract

Background: Stroke is a syndrome consisting of signs and symptoms of the lost function of focal central nerves system which rapidly develops within seconds or minutes. The symptoms last more than 24 hours and may cause death. Stroke will cause a fatal impact for the body, such as decreasing activity or mobile disruption like hemiparase. Exercise and physical activity can maintain the normal movement of joints, muscle tone and can also reduce flexibility. Objective: To describe nursing care for the problems of non-hemorrhagic stroke with physical mobility obstruction. Method: This study is an analytical descriptive with a csase study approach. The data were obtained from interview, observation, physical examination, and documentation. The respondents were 2 non-hemoragic stoke patients. Result: After having nursing care, ineffective breathing pattern and alvi elimination disorder (constipation) were solvable, while physical mobility was partially resolved and needed further care. Recommendation: ROM (range of motion) is a form of exercise in the rehabilitation process that is considered effective enough to prevent the occurrence of disability in stroke patients
