Abstract
Background: Road traffic accident can cause fracture. Fracture that often occurs is a lower extremity fracture. The Problem of fracture is usually limitation on the limbs. In general the way how to overcome the limitation of limbs is the gradual mobility. Objective: Describing nursing care for post-surgical patients of lower extremity fractures having physical mobility disorder in Muhammadiyah hospital of Gombong. Method: This scientific paper is an analytical descriptive with a case study approach. The data were obtained through interview, observation, physical examination, and documentation study. The subjects were 2 post-surgical patients of lower extremity fractures. Result: After having nursing care for 3 x 24 hours, the physical mobility disorder of both patients was not solvable. Recommendation: Physical mobility needs more frequency so as to overcome the fractures effectively.
