Abstract

Background: Mobility is the ability of a person to move freely, easily, and regularly to meet the needs of healthy life. |Mobility disturbance often appears in stroke patients. To handle this is by doing Range of Motion (ROM) exercise to prevent the occurrence of permanent paralysis. Objective: To perform nursing care for stroke patients in fullfiling the need of mobility. Method: This scientific paper is an anlytical descriptive with a case sstudy. Data were obtained through interview, observation, physical examination, and documentation study. The respondents were 2 stroke patients having physical mobility disturbance. Discussion; The arising nursing problem was the obstacle of physical mobility connected with neuromuscular disorders. Intervention and implementation that had been done were studying the muscle strength of patients, helping meeting ADL, training the patients to do ROM exercise. Evaluation: After conducting nursing care for three days, the muscle strength of the patients increased. Recommendation: Doing regular ROM exercise as early as possible is recommended to overcome the problem of physical mobility disturbance.
