Abstract
Background: Bronchial asthma generally occur when the bronchi are inflaming and having excessive response due to a stimulation causing constriction of the respiratory tract. Bronchial asthma is characterized by hard breathing or shortness of breath, coughing, wheezing, and increasing sputum production. Many factors cause the occurrence of asthma, such as air pollution, cold, stress and tiresome. Objective: To know nursing care for bronchial asthma patients with the need of oxygenation. Method: This scientific paper is an analytical paper with a case study approach. Data were collected from interview, observation, physical examination, documentation study. The respondents were 2 bronchial asthma patients. Result: After having nursing care for 3 days, ineffective airway clearance associated with an airway spasm was solvable. Respiratory pattern disturbance associated with hyperventilation oxygenation was also solved. so that the patient in the in the suggestion to control and stay away from trigger factors.
