Abstract

Background: According to the reserch (2016), there were 75% of women in Indonesia suffered from leucorrhea at least once in their lifetime – 50% in their adolescence and 25% in their fertile-age. This is sharply different from other countries which is only 25%. In 2016 there were 70% of women in Central Java also suffering from leucorrhea (vaginal disharge) caused by fungi and parasites, such as pinworms and germs. Leucorrhea can be cured by non-pharmocological treatment by using boiled soursop leaf for it contains antiseptic subtances, i.e phenol. It can vanish the germs. The content of phenol of soursop leaf is 5 times more effective than ordinary phenol. Objective: To find out the application of boiled soursop leaf for decreasing pathological leucorrhea of fertile-age women in Independent Midwifery Clinic of Midwife Wiwik Ismurtini S,ST in Kebumen. Method: This study is an analytical descriptive with a case study approach. The participants are 5 persons. Data were obtained through onterview, observation, and documentation. Result: After having treatment by using boiled soursop leaf, participant 1, 3, and 4 had no complaints. Meanwhile, participant 2 and 5 still had a slightly little liquid with delute and colored consistency. Conclusion: The application of boiled soursop leaf can decrease the level of pathological leucorrhea of fertile-age women.
