Abstract

Background: The achieving target of national exclusive breast-feeding ia around 80%, while the achieving target of Central Java ia around 55%. The cause of low exclusive breast-feeding ia a decrease in milk production due to the lack of stimulation of oxytocin and prolactin hormones (Astutik, 2014). Rolling massage can be a way how to overcome the decrease of breast-milk production. Rolling massage is an action of providing a relaxed sensation on a mother and of smoothies the flow of berbeda and also of glowing out breast-milk of both of her breast (Perinasia, 2010). Massage rolling can provide comfort and make the mother relaxed. This is because it can stimulation the flow of endorphin hormones and oxytocin reflex. Objective: To know the application of rolling massage to accelerate the expenditure of breast-milk in Independent Midwifery Clinic of Midwife Dwi Sumarni, Amd Keb. Method: The study was conducted by using an analytical descriptive method through a case study approach. Data were obtained through interview, observation, documentation, and literary study. The participants were 3 postpartum mothers. Result: After having back rolling massage for 4 days, there was an increase in the acceleration of breast-milk production of all participants, i.e. from less smooth to be well smooth expenditure of their breast-milk
