Abstract
Background: The world of children is a world of play, during which children become more active to mobile. Besides, they will have faster physical and psychological developments. They are able to develop their creativity, to do experiment, to explore and to learn through games. Poor capability of children may be caused by their lack of activities that can stimulate their fine motor. Cube game can be applied to improve the motor development of children, i.e. their hard and soft motor. It can also help to improve their language skill and social skill. Therefore, the writer is interested in providing midwifery care by applying cube game to improve children’s development. Objective: To know the influence of cube game on improving the development of children in Indepenent Midwifery Clinic of Midwife Haryati at Adimulyo. Method: This study is an analytical descriptive. The respondents were 5 underfive children. Data were obtained through interview, observation, and documentation. Result: After playing cube game, all participants (100%) had good improvement in their development of motor (hard and soft), language skill, and also social skill.
