Abstract
Background: Clean and Healthy live behavior is the action to mantain self health and cleanliness affecting health, comfort, safety, and welfare. The older the elderlies, they will suffer from cell degeneration influencing body systems. This condition results in the disorder of clean and healthy life behavior. Methods: The present study used analytical description with survey approach. The samples were 56 elderly people taken by purposive sampling technique. Data were analyyzed using descriptive frequency analysis. Result: The elderly clean and healthy life behavior based on sex showed that female had good category (64.7%), and male also had good category (68,2%). Based on the level of education showed that the elderly who had senior high school education had good category (72,2%), junior high school also had good category (68,6%). Based on jobs, there were traders who had good category (83,7%), and farmers who also had good category (64,1%). Conclusion: The elderly clean and healthy life behavior in Kemukus, Gombong, Kebumen showed good category (66,1%).
