Abstract

Background: Hyperemesis gravidarum is excessive nausea vomiting which interferes with daily work and the general condition becomes worse, besides it is the most common disorder in the first trimester of pregnancy. More than 80% of pregnant women experience nausea and vomiting, while for those who experience Hyperemesis gravidarum about 5 out of 1,000 pregnant women. General Purpose: To find out the application of ginger boiled water to reduce nausea and vomiting in pregnant patients with hyperemesisgravidarum in ward of Annisa Rumah Sakit Islam Wonosobo Nursing Outcomes: The main nursing problem that arises is less nutrition than body needs. The intervention and implementation is carried out by managing nutrtition, namely providing and increasing balanced nutritional problems are overcaome marked by the Client being able to eat and drink gradually without vomiting Recommendation: Non-pharmacological actions to overcome/relieve symptoms of nausea-vomiting in pregnant women with hyperemesis gravidarum by applying the use of ginger boiled water give satisfactory results. However, the dosage still needs to be considered, which is not too much or too much.
