Abstract
Background: Post-caesarean section if not treated will causes physical and psychological reactions in postpartum mothers. One of them is pain, elief, to control pain with music therapy distraction therapy Objective: Explaining nursing care is done to meet the basic needs of comfort pain felt by post section caesarian patients with music therapy distraction techniquesin the Bougenvil room of DR. Soedirman Hospital Kebumen. Nursing Care Results: Tha Main nursing problem of acute pain is related to physical injury agents, the interventions was conducted in acomprehensive study (PQRST), teach and do music therapy distraction techniques, pain evaluation, monitor vital signs. Implementation is carred aout based on the intervention. The results of the evaluation showed adecrease in pain intensity from scale 7 (severe) to mild (3) Recommendations: Music therapy distraction techniques, effective to reduce patients intensity pain.
