Abstract
Background: Premature babies are babies born with a body weight less than or equal to 2500 grams regardless of gestation with a gestational age of less than 37 weeks. Premature babies with mild birth weught (LBW) have suckling problems, where the reflexes suck are still weak. Helping the baby to increase the sucking reflex can be done by giving music therapy. Objective: To analyze nursing care for low birth weight premature births with the ineffectiveness of breastfeeding patterns in the Melati room at the RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto. Method: Providing innovations in classical mozzart music therapy to infants with LBW premature birth. The results of nursing care: the results of the evaluation show that nursing is ineffective in the baby's breastfeeding pattern is resolved. Nursing innovations provided are classical mozzart music therapy which is given for 4 days suction reflexes and baby's weight increases. Recommendations: It is hoped that it can provide further management actions for patients on physiological fulfillment, especially in neonates (infants) with low birth weight premature births in the provision of non-pharmacological therapy, namely classical music therapy to increase weight.
