Abstract
Background: Thypoid is a gastrointestinal disease caused by the bacterium Salmonella typhi and is characterized by increasing body temperature. The fever effects can be caused the last of fluids or dehydration. This efforts that can be done explaying to reducing body temperature with non-pharmacological therapy, namely water tepid sponge. Objective: To explain nursing care for typhoid patients with hyperthermia in the Melati Room of Dr. Soedirman Kebumen Hospital.. Method: This scientific paper use a descriptive case study design. The subject of studys subject was three pediatric patients whose typhoid fever, patiens case who hyperthermia problems. The collection data used observation, interview and documentation study. Results: Based on three patients who have lowered in a decrease in bodyes temperature after given tepid water sponge. Conclusion: The results of evaluation on thypoid fever patients after given tepid water sponge bodyes temperature / fever down.
