Abstract
Background : Development characteristics in children are very important to help determine the stimulation of early childhood development. Play activities in training children’s development, one of which is use slime. Play slime can practice concentration, attention and practice flexibility in the muscles of finger. Play slime therapy is given to children because the terapy is easy to be done by children. Objective : To describe nursing care with the application of play slime therapy to increase stimulation of child development. Method : This research use descriptive method with a case study approach. The number of samples is two clients aged 72 months. Client development level was measured after doing play therapy using DPSQ (developmental of pre screening questionnaire).Case Study Result : After three days of play slime therapy, it was found that there was an increase in development child, from first day the value of 8 to a value 10 on third day. Conclusion : Application of play slime therapy can increase development child stimulation. Recommendation : Application of play slime therapy to reduce child anxiety in the hospital.
