Abstract
Background: The error or discrepancy of implementation of triage, it can result worsening the patient's condition and the death of the patient. The nurse's ability to do triage greatly influences the success rate of help when the patient experiences emergency emergencies. The accuracy of nurses in carrying out triage is also influenced by various factors including nurse knowledge about triage, work motivation and workload. Objective: To find out the factors that influence the accuracy of the implementation of triage at the IGD of PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital. Method: This study is a quantitative study with a descriptive correlative design and cross sectional approach and the number of samples was 12 nurses. Result: Most of the triage in the emergency room at PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital was in accordance with as much (75%). There is an influence on the level of knowledge of nurses about triage with the accuracy of the implementation of triage with p = 0.018 (p <0.05). There is an influence of nurses' motivation with the accuracy of triage implementation with p = 0.027 (p <0.05). There is an effect of workload with the accuracy of the implementation of triage with p = 0.001 (p <0.05). Conclusion: The factors that influence the accuracy of the implementation of triage at IGD of PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong include the level of knowledge, motivation and workload. Recommendation: The Hospital should improve the performance of nurses and increase the level of knowledge and motivation of nurses by providing seminars or training.
