Abstract
Background, Nursing care documentation is a record of the process of nursing care patients to know the progress of the patient's health. Superintendents is supervisor nursing care to monitor the performance of nurses in nursing care and documentation. PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital were found 5 nurses interviews with the results of three people (60%) expressed less well demonstrated with supervision is not done every day and do not perform routine checks, 2 (40%) stated that surveillance is well done. From the results obtained 5 nursing care, and 3 nursing care medical records are incompleted (60%) and 2 medical records (40%), there is complete nursing care. Objektive, Finding out of the relationship superintendents with nursing care documentation in the II and III class at PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital. Methods, This research used a descriptive correlation with cross-sectional approach. The research sample using a total sampling of 60 nurses in the inpatient unit PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital of Gombong. Research result, The result showed the supervision of superintendents either category as many as 50 people (83.3%) and unfavourable as many as 10 people (16.7%), while the complete documentation of nursing care categorized 40 medical records (66.7%) and did not complete as many as 20 (33.3%). Analysis chi square of the significance of test results of 95% or p≤0.05 there is a significant value (p) = 0.007, so the value of p<0.05, which means there is a control relationship with the chamber's head of nursing care documentation. Conclusion, The final conclusion is their relationship with the chamber head documentation supervisior of nursing care in the inpatient unit II and III class. Recommendations, Suggestions for further research to examine other factors that may affect nursing care documentation
