Abstract
Background: Vaginal discharge is the discharge of excess which is sometimes accompanied by itching, pain, a sense of tenderness in the public lips, often accompanied by a foul smell. Around 75% women in the world experience vaginal discharge, at least once in their lifetime and as many as 45 % women experience vaginal discharge twice or more. One way to prevent the occurrence of pathological vaginal discharge using green betel leaf (peper betle L) cantent in green betel leaf (peper betle L) can be removed bacteria and anti-fungal in the body Objectives: The purpose of this research is to know the point out effectiveness of water decoction of green betel leaves in overcoming the discontinuity at class XI in Muhammadiyah Muhammadiyah Senior High School 1 Gombong. Methode: This research methode usesing quasy experiment design with Pre and post-test group design. Done randomly into two groups, against 24 respondents in the intervention group and 24 respondents control group who are experincing vaginal discharge. After 6 days observed symptoms of vaginal discharge is reduced vaginal discharge in intervention group. The Stastical test result used non parametric (Wilcoxon test). Results : At statistical test result used of Wilcoxon, group intervation there is a discrepancy between pre and post-test obtained 0,000 (p <0.05) which means Ha acceptable means there is there is the influence with water decoction of green betel leaves to overcome whiteness, compared to the control group that is not given the betel leaf decoction. Conclusion : There was significant difference between pre and post-test after the water intervention of green betel leaf decoction Further researcher: Can compare other types of betel leaves, it is necessary to uniform the same leaf size
