Abstract

Background: The morbidity rate after undergoing SC action is 4-6 times higher than normal labor. The impact faced by patients post SC surgery is one of them is gastrointestinal decrease in the colon so that intestinal peristalsis becomes slow and causes constipation. Post-SC mothers are advised to mobilize to improve digestive function. Objective: To carry out nursing care mobilization application to prevent constipation in post sectio caesarea patients in Bougenville Room RSUD dr. Soedirman Kebumen Method: This scientific work uses a descriptive method with a case study approach. Case study instruments use SOP mobilization, and observation sheets sign of symptoms of constipation. Data obtained from the results of observation of interviews, physical examinations, and study documentation. The subjects consisted of 3 patients post sectio caesarean surgery. Results of nursing care: The main nursing diagnosis that appears on the client is constipation related to function: insufficient physical activity. The actions taken in handling the problem of constipation are related to function: insufficient physical activity, the authors make constipation / impaction management and early mobilization. The evaluation results show a decrease in symptoms of constipation after constipation / impaction management and early mobilization. Recommendation: It is expected that early post-SC mobilization can be used as a SOP in comprehensive maternity nursing care for women giving birth specifically to reduce signs of constipation.
