Abstract

Method: A method of descriptive analytic with the approach the study cases with pre test and post a test to studies knowledge of the role of parents on the in confidence during the preparatory phase of the development of the family with the son of early adolscene. sample as much as two family, with characteristics of families who have children aged 12-20 years, Teens who live with parents, being able to communicate,and bring in doesn't have a breakdown in communicating. Results: interventions and the implementation is done in the form of the granting of health education of the role of parents to increased confidence in the children aged teenagers. In its evaluation that is carried out during the meeting five-time significant results are obtained from using it in improving the understanding of the family of Mr. A score of 60 being the score 90 and the family of Mr. P from score 50 became the score 90 and a decreased sense of confidence in children. Recommendations: Te application of the role of parents health education was effective way to their tense knowledge parents and reduce the feeling of lacking in confidence for his child.
