Abstract
Background: The World Health Organization (WHO) World Health Organization states that labor with SC surgery is around 10% -15% of all births in developing countries including Indonesia. Lack of nutrients can have an effect on post-SC wound healing which ultimately risks infection in the surgical wound. Efforts to provide health services to mothers during childbirth include one by providing health education on post-SC nutrition. Lack of nutrients can affect postSC wound healing which ultimately risks infection in the surgical wound. Efforts to provide health services to mothers during childbirth include one by providing health education on post-SC nutrition. Objective: writing this scientific paper to describe the results of the application of health education to increase knowledge about nutrition in post partum mothers sectio caesarea. Method: This scientific paper uses a descriptive method with a case study approach. Data is obtained from the results of observation of interviews, physical examinations, and study of documentation. The subjects consisted of 2 patients 2 patients post sectio caesarean surgery Results: The evaluation results showed the knowledge of post partum caesarean section about nutrition before the implementation of health education in the less category. Client I has a score of 40% while Client II has a score of 26.7%. An increase in mother's knowledge about nutrition after the application of health education. Client 1 has an increase in knowledge score of 60% and Client II has an increase in knowledge score of 66.6%. Providing information through leaflets and flipcharts included in the lecture has an effect on significantly increasing knowledge. Recommendation: The author suggests that the counseling given to respondents can be applied to life so that it can help improve the nutrition problems of postpartum mothers and accelerate recovery.
