Abstract
Background: Fine motorism is one of the developments in preschoolers seen from the movement of small muscles such as movements in the fingers of the h ands and wrists when drawing or when holding a stationery. Delay in the development of a child's fine motor skills makes it difficult for children to make fast and precise movements such as difficult to write. If that happens, it will affect children's per formance during school, so the authors are interested in doing one of the interventions used to improve the fine motoric development of preschoolers, namely by drawing oil therapy. Purpose of Writing: This case study describes child nursing care with the application of drawing play therapy to improve fine motor development in preschool children in kindergarten Method of Writing: This case study uses descriptive analytical methods with a case study approach that is a method that describes certain situations that are well organized and complete in accordance with the conditions of the client. The client case study subjects have 2 children with preschoolers (5-6 years) who are cooperative, and the presentation of the data used in this case study are tables and narratives. Results: After 3 days of playing therapy, there was a fine motor improvement in children from previously only being passed in 2 indicators and failing in 2 indicators of 4 indicators and after drawing play therapy can be passed in 4 indicators that have been determined according to DDST measurements of children aged 5-6 years. Drawing play therapy is proven to improve the fine motor development of preschoolers in kindergarten. Recommendation: Health workers or educators should use drawing play therapy as one of the therapeutic options to improve fine motor development in preschool children.
