Abstract
Background : Risk of violent behavior is a situation where individual can take actions that endanger themselves, others and the environment. To reduce risk of violent behavior signs and symptoms of patients, classical music therapy can be carried out that can reduce aggressive behavior, reduce anxiety and overcome depression. Objective : Describe application of classical music therapy that can reduce the signs and symptoms of patients with risk of violent behavior in Dosaraso house. Methods : The method used is descriptive method with a case study approach. The Subjects consisted of 2 participants with the risk of violent behavior problem. Results : After doing classical music therapy for 5 meetings, First participant experienced a decrease in risk of violent behavior signs and symptoms from 11 to 8. While for second participant experienced a decrease in risk of violent behavior signs and symptoms from 11 to 7. Besides, both of participants has increased ability to do classical music therapy from 50% (enough) to 100% (good). Recommendations : Nurse can develop the application of classical music therapy for reducing the risk of violent behavior signs and symptoms. Besides, can improve ability in conducting classical music therapy.
